Study visit to the State of Israel
Within the EU project in the implementation of the Ministry of Croatian defenders entitled "Strengthening the capacity of professionals who provide psychosocial care for Croatian war veterans and victims of war - Phase 1", from 14. do 20. December 2019. was held a study visit to the State of Israel. On a study tour whose aim was to raise the level of knowledge, awareness and skills of experts, participated and employee ZUHBL PTSD RH. the delegation of 16 members led by Secretary of State Mrs. Nevenka Benic. The study tour was conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the State of Israel and the meetings were held in the Department of Family and commemorations and the Department of Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Defense of Israel, as well as visiting Rehabilitation Center Marguza and veteran center Beit Halochem. Were visited and some of the most memorial sites, muzej Palmach, Yad La-Shiryon, National Memorial Hall for the fallen soldiers of Israel and Yad Vashem. The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Croatian Defenders, National Foundation for Civil Society Development and the Committee on Veterans of the City of Zagreb. As part of the conference veterans' associations members of the Center Knowledge, as well as organizations that are recipients of the institutional support of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development presented their work and their plans for the period 2020-2030. She stressed the need for additional networking and cooperation among organizations. Once again, Dr.. Day of Remembrance for the victims of Vukovar and Skabrnja 2019
Members of the Association of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD and the Croatian participated in the celebration of the Day of Remembrance of the sacrifice of Vukovar and Skabrnja. Members who were in Vukovar with dignity marked the Day of Remembrance for the victims of Vukovar participating in the column memories and lighting candles for all the dead. In Skabrnja members lit candles for all the murdered civilians and veterans and pay tribute to all victims of war. We are glad that we have with the help of the Ministry of Croatian Defenders their members could facilitate the departure in Vukovar and Skabrnja that with a large number of Croatian citizens who are this year come from all over Croatian, participate in the commemoration of this sad day for all of Croatia.

The meeting of the Standing Committee for European Affairs of the World Veterans Federation in Berlin
From 25. – 27. November 2019. The Secretary General ZUHBL PTSD RH participated in the meeting of the Standing Committee for European Affairs of the World Veteran Federation in Berlin. The meeting was also submitted reports of the World Veteran Federation and member states. ZUHBL PTSD RH was a representative member associations from Croatian. In accordance with a previous agreement with other member associations was proposed that the next meeting of the Committee in 2020. were held in the Republic of Croatia and the proposal unanimously adopted.
Pilgrimage to Medjugorje
As in previous years, Union of Associations of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD RH, for its members from all over Croatia, organized a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. The pilgrimage was organized by 25.-27. November 2019. year and was on it this year participated 64 pilgrims (association members and their families). The pilgrimage this year organized as part of the "psychological and spiritual empowerment of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD and their families", funded by the Ministry of Croatian defenders.
Visiting Sarajevo
President of the Union in the period 7. – 10. November 2019. he was on an official visit to Sarajevo, where he met with the Minister of Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Mr.. Ismirom Jusko. They discussed current issues and the Law on the Croatian Homeland War defenders and members of their families. During the visit there was a meeting with President JOB 'Union veterans "of the Sarajevo Canton Mr.. Ismet Imamović.
The Conference of Civil Society 2030.: HR-EU_Euro-Mediterranean
From 23. – 25. November 2019. in the convention center Solaris in Sibenik we attended the conference Civil Society 2030.: HR-EU_Euro-Mediterranean. The conference was among others attended by the Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds g. Marko Pavic and Director of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs Mrs.. Helena Beus. The aim of the conference was to set the basis for further development of civil society to 2030. year as in Croatia and at the level of the European Union and the Euro-Mediterranean.
