Workshop on the preparation of projects from EU funds

In Vrbovcu in Hotel Bunčić 16. i 17. December 2017. held the two-day workshop for the presidency ZUHBL PTSD Croatia on the topic of developing projects from EU funds. The workshop we were able to organize with the support of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development and the Ministry of Croatian Defenders. The workshop was attended by two representatives of each association that operates within the local community. The workshop participants had the opportunity under the expert guidance of Sonja Prišćan, People with experience in the preparation and implementation of EU projects, systematically develop ideas about potential projects and exchange ideas with other participants. The aim of these workshops was to prepare guidance for local associations already announced projects, encourage them to connect to other organizations in possible partnerships and enable the transfer of knowledge to the members of the associations which have the same beneficial.

Day of Remembrance for the victims of Vukovar 2017.

18. November 2017. The members of the Association of State and Community Leadership Association dignified marked the Day of Remembrance for the victims of Vukovar participating in the column memories and lighting candles for all the dead. With a large number of Croatian citizens who are this year come from all over the Croatian in order to participate in the commemoration of this sad day for Vukovar, but also for the whole of Croatia, we are proud that we ourselves are able to give a small contribution. At assist in the organization of transport thanks to the Ministry of Croatian Defenders.

A visit to the Association of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD Koprivnica-Krizevci, Sv. Marko Križevčanin

In November 2017. The leadership of the Society visited the association member from Križevci and with their leadership visited the premises on which the association operates. Working meeting in the Ministry of Labor and Pension System

Dana 08. September a delegation of the Association of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD and held a working meeting with the Minister of Labor and Social System, mr.sci. Marko Pavic. The delegation consisted of the President of the Community, Tihomir Trešćec and Senior Advisor, dr. Herman Vukusic. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Institute for expertise, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Zosia): assistant Minister, Marija Knezevic Kajari, ravnateljica zosia-a, Dmira Bank, Zosia helper ravnateljice- a, dr. Durdica Blažinkov Zivkovic Head of Sector for medical expertise OSI's, dr. Eos Martinac.

The subject was controversial provisions of Regulation on methodologies expertise associated with a twofold interpretation of the percentage of physical disability that is the basis of PTSD after the Lists I and II of Regulation. After constructive discussions, it was concluded that after the adoption of the new Law on the Rights of Croatian war veterans and members of their families bodily injury as a result of war PTSD value through a unique list, according to contemporary medical criteria. In making that part of the list that refers to the percentage of physical damage caused by PTSD whose will participate as representatives of the Community.
Minister Pavic at the end of the meeting proposed the organization of the working meeting leaders of OSI-I with the leaders of the Community, to cooperation on the issues of improving the veteran population for more efficient. I will minister the same meeting and attend.

Held psychological workshops

Within the project "Social and psychological motivation to improving the lives of veterans treated for PTSD were held workshop" Stress, PTSP suicides: how to help themselves and others ", self-help program for Croatian war veterans suffering from PTSD. Workshops are organized for Croatian war veterans treated for PTSD with a view learn about the basic mechanisms of the effects of stress and PTSD caused by participating in the war; introduction to the interaction of physiological, psychological and behavioral functioning system of the human; dating with signs of suicidal behavior and ways to prevent suicide and Discovering and practicing basic techniques of breathing, creative visualization and directing their attention to overcome traumatic stress symptoms. The workshops were held in four different cities, and led them mr.sc. Zoran Komar.
