COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION OF CROATIAN DEFENDERS TREATED from post-traumatic stress disorder REPUBLIC OF CROATIAN

With the aim of honoring the Croats who died in World War II. during World War II in France, as a result of anti-fascism protests, representatives of the associations traveled to Villefranche de Rouergue and were part of the protocol marking the uprising and the suffering of Croats at the hands of the Nazis. The ceremony was held in the afternoon 17. September. Representatives from Croatia, including representatives from the Croatian Embassy, they gathered at the monument erected by the French authorities in memory of those killed by the fascist occupier. After intoning the hymns, laying wreaths and lighting candles by the Croatian delegation, our representatives participated in a joint meeting in the Prefecture with representatives of the city and the province.

It was solemnly celebrated in Knin 29. anniversary of VRO Storm, The Day of Victory and Homeland Gratitude and the Day of Croatian Veterans. The central ceremony was held at the NK Dinara stadium. Members of the association also participated in the commemoration ceremony and thus paid tribute to the fallen, missing and dead comrades. Wreaths were laid by representatives of the families of the deceased, of missing and deceased Croatian veterans in VRO Oluja, CROATIA, war commanders and representatives of associations from the Homeland War, as well as delegations from the state leadership. Croatia has been participating in the International Military Pilgrimage since 1993. year and is traditionally organized by the Military Ordinariate with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and Ministry of Croatian Veterans.

Introductory conference on the project Social inclusion and support for the elderly and people with disabilities (Code number: SF.3.4.11.01.0317) was held in Zabok 2. May. The goal of the project is to ensure long-term care, increase in social inclusion and prevention of institutionalization of persons older than 65 years and adults with disabilities. The total value of the project is 1.350.000,00 euros. The European Union co-finances the project from the European Social Fund plus in the amount of 1.147.500,00 euros (85%), and the Republic of Croatia in the amount of 202.500,00 euros (15%). The project implementation period is from 22. 03. 2024. do 22. 03. 2027. A representative of the community participated in the celebration 33. the anniversary of the massacre in Borovo Selo 1991. the year when 12 Croatian police officers from the Vinkovci Special Police Unit were killed by Serbian paramilitary units. It was the first collective sacrifice on the way to the creation of a free and independent Croatian state. The ceremony began with a commemoration at the Memorial, where wreaths were laid and candles were lit, and a solemn commemoration program followed.

It is in Križevci on the occasion of Križevci City Day 21.04.2024. in the center of the city, a traditional fish cooking competition was again held in the co-organization of the UHBL PTSP of Koprivnica-Križeva County "St.. Marko Križevčanin" and ZUHBL PTSP of the Republic of Croatia, which was attended by eight member associations from all over Croatia. After gathering the participants, and before the competition itself, a wreath was laid and candles were lit at the monument "Pride of veterans in the sign of the cross".
According to the decision of the tasters, the team from Međimurje County was judged to be the best ticket, the second was the Karlovac County team, and last year's winners from Sisak-Moslavina County took third place this year. As is usual, the remaining cooked fiche was distributed to the citizens present. After the fish cooking competition, a fishing competition was held on a float on Lake "Bajer". This year, the most successful angler individually was Dado Topolovec from Međimurje County, second place was won by Ivica Trehub from Vukovar-Srijem County, and the third Mladen Vrban from UHBDDR – Petranec from Koprivnica-Križevačka County. During the fishing competition, the hosts prepared a barbecue for all competitors and guests, and at the end of the event, thanked the City of Križevci and everyone who helped in the successful organization of this event. Congratulations to all participants on participating, and especially to the winners.
During the competition, the Reporting Assembly of the ZUHBL PTSP of the Republic of Croatia was held in the premises of the veterans' associations of the City of Križevci.

In cooperation with a member association from the Split-Dalmatia County and with the support of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans, we organized an air-soft exhibition meeting on the occasion of marking Operation SKOK 1 days 7. 4. 2024. g. in such a way that participants from different parts of Croatia gathered around 14 hours, and after the introductory greetings and refreshments, airsoft equipment was distributed and borrowed, and chose the teams that participated in this meeting. At the end of the air-soft meeting, a dinner was organized for all participants, who then used the time for pleasant socializing and recalling memories from the Homeland War.. Many members of the association of partners in the implementation of this activity were participants in this operation, and the commemoration of the anniversary is of special significance to them.

In the premises of the association of days 05. In April, the introductory conference of the Zaželi project was held, called Social inclusion and support for the elderly and people with disabilities, which is implemented by ZUHBL PTSP RH together with partners: Zagreb County, The city of Velika Gorica and the Croatian Transpersonal Association, co-financed by the European Social Fund plus. The project was presented at the conference, goals and the participants are informed about the possibility of inclusion. Representatives of local branches were informed about the possibility of involving their members in the project, but also other users who fall into the category of users covered by the project.
