The premises of the Association of Croatian war veterans treated for PTSD Croatia, 14.03.2017. year we hosted military psychologists and psychiatrists from Ukraine. Within his visit to Croatia in the period of 5 they visited the Community and are familiar with the work of the association and the most common problems that the members face.
Also, has participated in the lecture mr.sc. Zoran Republic, military psychologists who in his presentation attendees relayed his experience as a military psychologist during and after the war, and answered numerous questions of interested interlocutors.
With talk of military psychologists, are present to meet and work with the Ministry of Croatian defenders and activities carried out to improve living conditions and facilitate the life of Croatian war veterans and members of their families. The aim of the meeting was to emphasize the importance of timely problem solving and reducing the negative effects of war on all participants, but also their families.
13. Sports competition of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD at the national level this year held 30. September – 2. November 2016. in Selcu. At this year's gathering included ten county associations of PTSD and the City of Zagreb, on which were more than 160 Croatian veterans treated for PTSD. His teams at this year's meetings of the association are delegated from the Zagreb County, Zagreb, Varazdin County, Koprivnica County, Vukovar-Sirmium County, City of Dubrovnik, Bjelovar-Bilogora, Of Virovitica and Krapina-Zagorje County. The competition began with the grand opening in Hotel Marina in Selce, and the game is opened Assistant Minister of Veterans Nevenka Benic. Union of Associations of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD as a member of the World Veteran Federation has received an invitation to participate in the 28.
