Therapeutic riding

Organized by ZUHBL PTSD RH and UHBL PTSD Split-Dalmatia County as part of activities Conducting group therapies for PTSD patients funded by the Ministry of Croatian Veterans, a therapeutic riding activity was held for members of the veteran-suffering population and members of their families. The aim of this activity was to achieve a positive psychological effect by staying in nature, building self-confidence by acquiring and perfecting new skills and encouraging the development of positive emotions when connecting and working with horses.

Coordination meeting of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development and Knowledge Centers

From 15 do 17. June 2020. A coordination meeting of associations involved in Development Cooperation in the field of Knowledge Centers for Social Development was held in Šibenik in 2006, including ZUHBL PTSD RH as a member 9. knowledge center. The meeting was attended by representatives of associations and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development and Mr. mr.sc. Marko Pavić Minister of Regional Development and European Union Funds, Ms. Helena Beus, Director of the Government Office for Associations, and Mr. Danko Relić, President of the Council for the Development of Civil Society. At the meeting, great emphasis was placed on the challenges facing associations as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic., but also the earthquake that hit Zagreb and Krapina-Zagorje County in March 2020. The need to empower associations to create resilience to new crises and challenges has been recognized.

Just as veterans were the first on the line of defense during the Homeland War, so has this difficult and responsible task now been taken by medical staff who work tirelessly and sacrifice their health for all of us. Let's make it easier for them and help them by following the directions, not to go out, keep your distance, often wash his hands and thus protect himself and others around us. Given that we know how this life in isolation can be especially difficult for those already suffering from psychiatric illnesses and struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, we consider it important to note that the work of regional psychotrauma centers and the National Psychotrauma Center is tailored to their situation and their support and support. further available.
