Working meeting in the Ministry of Labor and Pension System

Dana 08. September a delegation of the Association of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD and held a working meeting with the Minister of Labor and Social System, mr.sci. Marko Pavic. The delegation consisted of the President of the Community, Tihomir Trešćec and Senior Advisor, dr. Herman Vukusic. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Institute for expertise, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Zosia): assistant Minister, Marija Knezevic Kajari, ravnateljica zosia-a, Dmira Bank, Zosia helper ravnateljice- a, dr. Durdica Blažinkov Zivkovic Head of Sector for medical expertise OSI's, dr. Eos Martinac.

The subject was controversial provisions of Regulation on methodologies expertise associated with a twofold interpretation of the percentage of physical disability that is the basis of PTSD after the Lists I and II of Regulation. After constructive discussions, it was concluded that after the adoption of the new Law on the Rights of Croatian war veterans and members of their families bodily injury as a result of war PTSD value through a unique list, according to contemporary medical criteria. Held psychological workshops

Within the project "Social and psychological motivation to improving the lives of veterans treated for PTSD were held workshop" Stress, PTSP suicides: how to help themselves and others ", self-help program for Croatian war veterans suffering from PTSD. Despite the increasing number of suicides, specific programs related to the problems of suicide rarely run, so and in this regard stated another great value of each preventive prejekta. Our hypothesis is – if we can not completely prevent problems and traumatic situations, joint action we can all greatly reduce their consequences.

HELD XII. FIŠIJADA IN KRIŽEVCI

Place travnja 2016. in Križevci was held XII. Fišijada which is one of the activities in which they participate veterans treated for PTSD to Croatian territory. The competition in cooking "fish stew" was organized by ZUHBL PTSD Croatia and UHBL PTSD Koprivnica county "Sveti Marko Križevčanin" and took part in the competition twelve associations. Top results Horseshoe is a team of UHBL PTSD Grad Zagreb, second place went to the team from UHBL PTSD Dubrovnik- Neretva County and the City of Dubrovnik, while the third place went UHBL PTSD Zagreb County. The official opening of the competition and the division won awards attended the Mayor of Krizevci g. Branko HRG and representatives of Koprivnica county. After the official part of the competition hanging defenders continued along portions of beans in a nearby barracks.

28. The General Assembly of the World Veteran Federation
